The 2023 Restaurant Awards Will Recognize the Best B.C. Wine List in Vancouver

In case you missed it, the finalists for the 2023 Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards were announced last week. Along with longstanding categories like Best Japanese, Best French and Best Italian, we welcomed a few new categories into the mix. Best Middle Eastern is our newest culinary category, and Best Contemporary replaced Best West Coast (creating a more inclusive category). Plus, this year we’ve introduced a new drinks-related category: Best B.C. Wine List.

The new category recognizes excellently curated wine lists comprised of primarily B.C. wines, including a range of both accessibly priced wines and higher-end, worth-the-splurge bottles. Lists were judged on variety and originality, and the winners will be announced at the 34th annual Restaurant Awards on May 15, 2023 (get your tickets now).
