Though it’s been hidden behind construction scaffolding most of the year, Oddfish, our gold winner for Best Seafood, is still constantly packed: it’s an elevated-casual gem drawing both the Kits crowd and tourists with its pasta vongole, crispy calamari and ocean-fresh ceviche. The catch-of-the-day fresh sheet showcases a rotating selection of treasures; the staff sport punchy Hawaiian shirts. It’s beach-chic dining at its best.

Silver: Blue Water Cafe
In Yaletown, silver medallist Blue Water Cafe celebrated its 25th anniversary this past summer, but the years haven’t slowed things down a tick: the team and chef Frank Pabst are still knocking it out of the park with their iconic seafood towers and melt-in-your-mouth sablefish, all delivered with flawless service.
