3 Beauty Boutiques to Shop This Spring

What’s in store this spring at our fave beauty boutiques (hint: they’re practically good enough to eat).

1. India Rose Cosmeticary

India Daykin of India Rose Cosmeticary comes from creative stock (her mother, Rosie Daykin, opened Butter Bakery) so it’s no surprise she opened the doors to a charming, pint-sized beauty boutique in MacKenzie Heights. Find an artfully curated selection of cult-fave, niche cosmetic products like Christophe Robin’s clarifying shampoo ($48) with chamomile that promises to brighten your colour without artificial tones—and transport you to the French stylist’s Paris salon in just one whiff. christophe-robin.com

2. Kiss and Makeup

This spring Kiss and Makeup introduces the new all-natural, unisex Graydon skincare line from Toronto. Spray the Eau Pour Garçons ($15) with essential oils on his gym bag, stinky shoes or even on him to clear the air—the Spanish lavender and grapefruit germ killer works double-duty as a countertop spray, too. From kitchen counter to store shelf, this line features ingredients like chlorophyll, food-grade manuka honey, broccoli and berry seed oil. It’s free of fillers, petro-chemicals, phthalates, artificial fragrance and colour. graydonskincare.ca

3. BeautyMark

You’ll find the entire range of Butter London cosmetics only at BeautyMark, but we’re especially excited about the spring launch of the Eventide Botanic Alchemy collection courtesy of Collective Skin Care, Kathryn Sawers’ boutique facial clinic perched upstairs. Made in small batches, the Everything masks’ ($30) all-natural ingredients (tea tree and juniper berry or palmarosa and carrot seed) are sourced from plants for their powerful healing properties. eventidebotanicalchemy.com
