Jillian Harris and local designer Melanie Auld reveal their new girly-meets-grit jewellery collection: JH x MA
It was only a matter of time. The local interior designer, and star of W Network’s Love It or List It Vancouver, is no stranger to the fashion industry (she launched her fourth capsule with Privilege Clothing earlier this month), but the JH x MA Summer Love collection marks her debut in the accessories department. The collection, designed by Harris and Vancouver jeweller Melanie Auld, was inspired by the meaningful relationships between women—mothers and daughters, sisters and friends—so it’s no surprise that the two have crafted such feminine pieces. The Summer Love collection is filled with delicate bracelets and cuffs, edgy stud earrings, and dainty rings and necklaces that have each been plated in 14 karat gold and feature semi-precious stones including pink opal, moonstone and turquoise.Designers Melanie Auld and Jillian Harris (Photo: Britt Gill). We got a peek of the collection last night at Yaletown’s The Cross Decor and Design, where shoppers sipped rose lemonade and mingled with the designer duo before making their final selections (styles available only while supplies last). To shop the full collection, visit melanieauld.ca. For every piece sold, $3.50 will be donated to A Better Life Foundation.Get it while supplies last! The JH x MA collection is full of stylish pieces like this moonstone teardrop necklace.
