3. Maan Farms

5. Hart House Restaurant

Hart House, located on the grounds of Deer Lake Park, has more than one event space available to rent—including the main dining room in the Tudor-style home the restaurant occupies. But couples who want an entirely outdoor wedding (ceremonies take place on the lawn) should inquire about the tent. It comes equipped with everything you’ll need to bring your reception to life, including tables and chairs, chandeliers and a dance floor. 

6. Sunwolf

Old-growth trees? Check. Rugged mountain peaks? Check. Meandering trails? Check. Sunwolf’s 5-acre property has all the essentials for a magical forest or camp-themed wedding—and it’s only an hour drive from Vancouver. If that’s still a little too far for some of your guests to travel, offer them a bed in one of the 10 riverside cabins that are included with the rental (they can accommodate up to 54 people) or invite them to pitch a tent on the venue’s spacious lawn. 

7. Brock House Restaurant

Built in 1912, it’s been used as a private residence, a home for the Vancouver RCMP and a restaurant (which it’s been operating as since 1977). More than 250 weddings are hosted here each year, allowing couples to tie the knot underneath a grand maple tree or in front of stunning ocean and mountain views.
