For those looking for a more curated menu, Black + Blue’s Mother’s Day brunch offers a set menu that starts with smoothies, and appetizers of your choice: avocado toast, heirloom tomato and burrata salad or wagyu carpaccio. The main course offers a choice of stuffed french toast, butter poached lobster eggs Benedict,  steak and eggs or a cobb salad.  Mothers receive a free glass of prosecco upon arrival.

Located inside Fairmont Pacific Rim, Botanist is offering a three-course brunch menu from Executive Chef Hector Laguna. The experience includes a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival and a hand-crafted cocktail. Guests can enjoy locally sourced Pacific Northwest fare with options like homemade crown pasta and hand-cut beef tartare, braised short rib, pan-seared sablefish, and oven-roasted prime rib.

Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar

Boulevard’s three-course Mother’s Day Menu starts off with baked oysters with creamed spinach, garlic bread and wild oregano, or you can opt for the hamachi crudo with spring onion, cucumber and radish. For the main course, choose from Dungeness crab eggs Benedict, lamb merguez shakshuka, roasted ling cod and more. Finish with a dessert of mango pavlova or the strawberry rhubarb cheesecake.

This Mother’s Day, owner and pastry chef Elena Krasnova is honouring mothers with her creations. In addition to her signature viennoiseries, there’s a variety of charming treats to choose from–a four-inch-tall handmade edible cactus made with Belgian milk chocolate and adorned with white-chocolate flowers, a La Rose cake rose that represents love that blooms forever, and a strawberry and vanilla cake adorned with a bright yellow black-eyed Susan, symbolizing encouragement.

Price: The strawberry and vanilla cake and La Rose cake both start at $45 for 6” and $70 for 8”. The chocolate flowering cactus is $25 while their Mother’s Day pastry box starts from $26 for a pack of five, $36 for eight-pack, and $46 ten-pack.
