Luckily, Vancouver’s restaurant scene has you covered, with an abundance of foods and goodies to enjoy. Treats and Gift Boxes for Mom

Laduree

Laduree has created a limited-edition Macaron gift box ($45) specially for moms. Choose 12 of their custom Macarons or let Laduree choose an assortment for your gift box. Beaucoup Bakery

Vancouver’s Beaucoup Bakery has come out with not one but four desserts to treat moms on Mother’s Day. If you are going for something small, try the Citron and Pamplemoosse macaron box set of six ($18), or the box set of 12 Mandarin and Yuzu bon bons ($26). Wanting something a bit bigger? YVR Cookie

Cannoli King

Wildlight’s Chef Warren has created an interactive kit dedicated for mom, with a Mother’s Day rosé pasta kit ($30) which will feature everything one would need to make their own rosé linguine with pancetta and herbs. Mon Paris Pâtisserie

Chef Elena Krasnova has made Mother’s Day a (literal) peice of cake thanks to her heart-shaped desserts: this adorable cake ($35) is layered with mixed berry compote and cream cheese. There’s a pastry box and chocolate teacup available, too— advanced orders can be made online or at 604-564-5665.

H Tasting Lounge

H Tasting Lounge’s Secret Garden is having a Winnie the Pooh-inspired afternoon tea on Mother’s Day ($92). They are also featuring a Mother’s Day lunch and dinner in the Lounge’s special dining domes (from $300, for up to six people) which will feature a glass of champagne for mom on arrival. Black and Blue

In addition to the chef attended carving station that will feature roasted turkey and prime rib, Notch 8’s pastry chefs are also whipping up some decadent desserts for this special occasion. The Botanist at Fairmont’s Pacific Rim Hotel is hosting a double day Mother’s Day brunch. Minami’s Mother’s Day brunch contains an elevated Minami Zen feast, which includes some incredible sushi and a dessert we can’t stop thinking about: a lychee panna cotta that is paired with Dassai Nigori-sake infused cream, salted vanilla crunch, grapefruit mint compote, salted almond crumble and finished with a grapefruit sorbet.
