Front-row seats to our Maui x Vancouver mash-up.
As the cold weather continues to settle in Vancouver (Hello, winter!), we can’t help but dream of escaping to a tropical destination—which is exactly why we’re taking a look back at our Maui pop-up party. Guests joined us at Beach Bay Café where they sampled Hawaiian cocktails and two feature poke dishes from Kā’anapali Beach Hotel’s Chef Tom Muromoto and Beach Bay’s own Chef Michael Winning. And at the end of the night, one lucky winner received an all-inclusive trip for two to Maui. Here’s a peek at our favourite moments:Executive Director of Kā’anapali Beach Resort, Shelley Kekuna, with VanMag’s General Manager, Dee Dhaliwal at the November event.Guests were anxious for the Hawaiian feast to begin.Kā’anapali Beach Hotel’s Chef Tom Muromoto and Beach Bay Café’s Chef Michael Winning hard at work. Before the poke competition, guests enjoyed canapes from each chef.
