The Fairview bakery's second location will open in the St. Regis Hotel this fall.
Beaucoup Bakery has reached a level of croissant royalty that’s bittersweet (culinary pun intended). It’s an easy go-to choice for baked goods in this city, and everyone knows it… meaning those weekend morning lines wind down the block.

But this morning, owners (and siblings) Betty and Jacky Hung announced they’re going for seconds. The additional location of Beaucoup Bakery will open this fall in Vancouver’s St. Regis Hotel, smack in the middle of downtown. It’s a 1,300 square foot space that you can bet is going to look as good as it smells: Vanmag Restaurant Design award winners Ste. Marie are on the case when it comes to the interiors. The new space will have seven tables and a patio for enjoying scones al fresco.

Will this make the lines in Fairview any shorter? We doubt it, but only time will tell. Petition to rename Granville station to Beaucoup Bakery Exchange?
