Vancouver’s First Michelin-Starred Restaurants Will Be Announced October 27

Early this summer it was revealed that Vancouver is now one of the newest Michelin Guide destinations—and just the second in Canada, after Toronto. As a city of food lovers, we were all laying in wait as the inspectors dined at our favourite restaurants, deciding which they would deem worthy of their coveted awards.

Finally, we’ve learned that on October 27 at 7:30PM, the Michelin Guide will be hosting their Guide revelation event where they reveal the Vancouver restaurants that have been awarded the coveted Michelin stars.

During the live-streamed event, chefs and restaurant teams will be learning in real time whether their restaurant has earned Michelin Stars, Bib Gourmands, Green Stars or other Michelin distinctions.

• The famous One, Two and Three Michelin Stars identify establishments serving exceptional cuisine rich in flavor and infused with the personality of a talented chef.
• The Bib Gourmand is a designation given to select restaurants that offer good quality food for good value – often known as personal favorites among the inspectors when dining on their own time.
• The Michelin Green Star honors restaurants at the forefront of practices committed to a more sustainable gastronomy.
• Recommended restaurants and special professional awards are also highlighted by Michelin Guide inspectors.
