Earlier this year, we partnered with Insights West to learn more about the romantic lives of Lower Mainlanders. One of the questions we asked survey respondents was where they chose to make that critical first impression.“Atmosphere is key in a date-friendly restaurant. We see first dates, proposals, anniversaries. Just last night we had regular customers, married for 20 years, share cocktails at the bar before dinner,” says Edwyn Kumar, Chambar GM. “The energy between them was electric. It was like they’d just met.”
