Share the love when you dine out to support local restaurants and Food Banks BC
Your tasty restaurant favourites will warm more than your tummy this spring. From May 9 to June 19, BC’s dairy farmers are partnering with participating restaurants across the province to serve up much-needed donations to Food Banks BC. For every qualifying menu item ordered, BC’s dairy farmers will donate $3 to Food Banks BC, up to $50,000.
Food Banks BC is the provincial association of food banks, comprising 105 relief agencies throughout BC. More than 100,000 clients access food bank services every month through its Food Banks and Perishable Food Recovery Programs. Through this feel-good food promotion, dining out or ordering takeout will taste even better because every time you order from a participating restaurant’s featured menu items, you’re helping someone in your community.

Items featured in the promotion are diverse—from a blueberry rooibos tea latte to cheesy lasagna. Start planning that delicious dinner out or cozy night in with takeout while supporting your local participating restaurants, BC’s dairy farmers, and families across the province in the process. Let’s eat good to do good!
