Rooted in the flavors of Saigon, B&D serves up traditional Vietnamese food with a mouth-watering modern twist

Take one step inside the modern, thoughtfully designed B&D Viet Cuisine and you’ll know you are somewhere special. A comfortable, stylish interior and a warm greeting beckons visitors to relax and delve into their culinary journey, which traverses flavours and traditions from across Viet Nam.

“At B&D, we’re committed to delivering an experience that’s welcoming from food to service,” says Bella Danh, owner of B&D Viet Cuisine. “Our warm hospitality and attentive service that reflects our passion for excellence.”

B&D’s menu is unique and appeals to traditional Vietnamese food lovers and culinary adventurers alike. Prepare to experience signature dishes from all regions of the country—many of which are rare to find in Vancouver.

“We take great pride in preserving traditional techniques, premium ingredients and maintaining consistent quality in every dish we serve,” Bella says.

The House Special Pho features an 18-hour simmered beef broth, served with rare beef, flank, tendon, tripe and beef balls—offered in regular or extra-fatty styles.

Bún Bò Huế sets B&D apart with its bold, spicy broth and house-made chả (pork sausage), true to its central Vietnamese roots.

Bánh Canh Cua is a rich, comforting crab noodle soup with a seven-hour pork bone broth, tapioca noodles, crab meat, pork hock and deep-fried soft-shell crab that will whisk you away to southern Viet Nam. Or feel the warmth of the Vietnamese highlands with Lẩu Bò Đà Lạt—an aromatic beef hot pot that is perfect for sharing.

And for something light, crispy, creamy Bánh Khọt (coconut rice cakes) are filled with prawns and herbs, offering a perfect bite of savory, fresh and fragrant flavors.

B&D Viet Cuisine was born in April 2022, breathing life into Bella’s heartfelt vision—shared by her husband Dat—to bring the most authentic Vietnamese cuisine to the local community, rooted in tradition and love.

The husband-and-wife team immigrated to Vancouver from Saigon, Vietnam, in 2017 and immediately got to work building their vision—Bella has always had a deep passion for cooking and dreamed of opening her own restaurant. After years of honing her skills in top kitchens in both Vietnam and Vancouver, that dream became a reality.

“At B&D, we’re proud to be your local destination for authentic Vietnamese cuisine with a modern twist,” Bella says. “Rooted in the flavors of Saigon, each dish we serve tells a story—one that reflects our heritage, passion and pride.”

The philosophy behind B&D is simple: share the depth and diversity of Vietnamese cuisine beyond just pho, and deliver a warm, memorable dining experience every time.

“We care deeply about our craft and our guests—and we can’t wait to welcome you,” Bella says.
