This Holiday Pop-Up Shop Is Stocked Exclusively with Female-Founded Brands

Think silk kimono robes, luxury linen, handmade clothing, handcrafted jewelry and more.

If you’re looking to fulfill your holiday gift list with unique, locally made items—and support women entrepreneurs at the same time—look no further. Next weekend-long pop-up shop will be showcasing some of the best local female-founded brands at Little Mountain Shop on Main. Enjoy some cocktails, giveaways and live music while shopping, but before that, take a look at this short list of some of the brands that will make you want to get a couple of presents for you, too:

Birds of Paradise will be featuring their colourful silk kimono robes with prints curated by the creator of the brand, Jaime Burke, and then ethically made in Vancouver.

Flax Sleep, a Canadian company run by three women (Anna Heyd, Oana Papuc and Vivian McCormick), will make you fall for their luxury French linen bedding.

Albedo the Label’s clothing collection, designed and handmade by local and talented designer Nicole Purdy, has great garments for a weekend getaway.

Hart + Stone offers jewelry with minimalist designs that go well with every style. Each piece has been handcrafted by Emily Hartweel on Salt Spring Island with recycled (when possible) gold and silver.

Woodlot’s line of home and body basics—candles, soap, essential oils and lotions—is made with natural ingredients, and they have beautiful curated sets that are perfect for giving.
