2. Fairmont Pacific Rim’s Guo Pei Couture Exhibition

There’s stunning work from fashion designer Guo Pei on display the Fairmont Pacific Rim, including the ‘Yellow Queen’ gown worn by Rihanna at New York’s Met Gala in 2015.

3. Super Bowl Specials at Vancouver Restaurants

February 12 to 13

Restaurants all over the city are gearing up for the Super Bowl this Sunday with game-ready eats. There’s a huge southern BBQ feast available for takeout from Railtown Cafe (pictured above) as well as pulled pork nachos at The Met and rotating food specials every quarter at The Chickadee Room.

4. The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s Gala Fundraiser

February 10

It’s a gala for a good cause. This year’s virtual VSO Gala Fundraiser includes a music from the orchestra (of course!) and an interview and intimate performance by Paul Shaffer. Order the Gala-in-a-Box and you’ll get grazing fare, dessert and a bottle of wine delivered to your home.

5. Presentation House Theatre’s Constellations

This play by Nick Payne follows a romantic relationship between a beekeeper and a cosmologist (casual V-day date night idea?), so it naturally includes some light exploration of the multiverse.
