Enter to win a pair of tickets to the Mainstage production of The Merry Wives of Windsor
We’re celebrating the 27th season of Bard on the Beach, Vancouver’s favourite summer Shakespeare festival, with an exclusive giveaway! Three winners will be selected to receive a pair of tickets to the laugh-out-loud comedy The Merry Wives of Windsor (valued at $114).Directed by Johnna Wright (June 17–September 24)It’s 1968 in Windsor, Ontario and English ex-pat Sir John Falstaff is hunting for a solution to his money troubles. He sends an identical love letter to two wealthy housewives, hoping to seduce them – and enjoy their fortunes – with no clue that they are best friends! When they discover his scheme, these merry wives set Falstaff up for some hilariously sweet revenge. This Jessie Award-winning production was first staged in Bard’s Douglas Campbell Theatre in 2012. Now it’s bigger and even better on the BMO Mainstage – and still full of high-spirited fun and classic ’60s music that made it a hit with audiences and critics.
