The restaurant festival Taste of Yaletown returns October 18 through 28—and we've got three gift cards burning a hole in our pocket.
Okay, we know you wanted to put in some hours in the next couple of weeks to work on your Halloween costume, but we have a better suggestion for how to spend your time this October: eating your way through Yaletown. (Then just toss on a witch hat and call it a day.) La Pentola. (Photo by Fuoco)October 18 through 28, Taste of Yaletown returns, featuring 25 of the neighbourhood’s restaurants offering up set-price menus at $25, $35 or $45. Slam oysters at Rodney’s, taste-test Northern Mexican plates at Fayuca, share some ‘za at the Parlour or soak up the view (frog legs in hand!) at Provence Marinaside—whatever pleases your palate, it’s a pretty good excuse to wine and dine your way through the ‘hood. Fayuca (Photo by Fuoco.)As always, this year’s Taste of Yaletown supports the Greater Vancouver Foodbank. For the full list of this year’s participating restaurants, hit up the Taste of Yaletown official site… and then enter our gift-card giveaway below. Three lucky winners will be drawn for one $50 gift card each. Winner to be selected and notified October 18; one entry per person.
