Online Contest Complete Rules and Regulations

Contest dates: May 4th – May 25th 2010

How to Enter
Enter online by visiting vanmag.com. Online entries are limited to one per person per day, for the duration of the contest.

Entries must be received by 11:59pm (PST) on the contest closing date, May 25, 2010. No purchase necessary.

Prize(s)
The winner(s) will be selected in a random draw on May 26, 2010 in Vancouver, BC. Five prize packages will be awarded. Prize package includes: 1) four EAT Vancouver tickets and 2) one Mott’s Clamato Caesar Bartending Kit. The total value of each Grand Prize is approximately $110 (CAD).
NOTE: Entire prize package is valid until the closing date of EAT! Vancouver on May 30, 2010.

The prize package must be redeemed on or before May 28, 2010. In the event the Grand Prize winner does not utilize any part of the Grand Prize, no cash equivalent or future redeemable certificate(s) will be issued to the Grand Prize winner. The Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded without substitution and is not transferable or convertible to cash and not for resale. The winner is responsible for all additional costs incurred beyond what is offered in the prize package (listed above). The prize must be accepted within two days of the winner’s notification that they have been selected as the Grand Prize winner(s). If selected entrant is unable to accept the prize within this time frame, his/her package will be forfeited and an alternate Grand Prize winner will be selected.

Should the winner refuse the prize, Vancouver and Western Living magazines (Transcontinental Media G.P.) and EAT Vancouver and Mott’s Clamato, and their respective advertising and promotional agencies are released from any obligation related to the prize. Selected entrant(s) will be notified by phone by May 27, 2010. The contest partners: Vancouver and Western Living magazines (Transcontinental Media G.P.) and EAT Vancouver and Mott’s Clamato retain the right in their absolute discretion to make substitutions of equivalent kind or value in the event of the unavailability of any element of the prize for any reason whatsoever.

How to Win
Online entries must be received by 11:59 pm (PST) on the contest closing date May 25, 2010. To win, selected entrants must have complied with the contest rules and must also answer a mathematical, skill-testing question posed by Telephone and/or e-mail. The winner will be required to sign a standard release and declaration form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of their prize as awarded and releasing Vancouver and Western Living magazines (Transcontinental Media G.P.) and EAT Vancouver and Mott’s Clamato, and their respective advertising and promotional agencies from any damage or loss that may result from entering this contest or accepting and/or utilizing the prize. The winner(s) must return the completed form within one day of receipt. If the completed form is not returned within the deadline, the winner will be disqualified and another winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries. The new winner must return the completed release form within one day of receipt. By entering, contestants agree to the use of their photographs, names and places of residence, without compensation, in print, radio or televised publicity relating to the contest.

Who Can Win
The contest is open to all residents of Canada, excluding residents of Quebec and employees, directors and officers (and those with whom they are directly related and/or domiciled) of Vancouver and Western Living magazines (Transcontinental Media G.P.) and EAT Vancouver and Mott’s Clamato, and their respective advertising and promotional agencies. Vancouver and Western Living magazines (Transcontinental Media G.P.) and EAT Vancouver and Mott’s Clamato and their respective affiliates, and their advertising and promotional agencies accept no responsibility in any case where their inability to satisfy these contest rules arises from any situation which is outside of their control including but not limited to a situation of a strike, lock-out or other labour strife in the sponsors’ workplaces or in the workplaces of any organization or entity whose services are used for running this contest. Vancouver and Western Living magazines (Transcontinental Media G.P.) and EAT Vancouver and Mott’s Clamato accept no responsibility for entries lost, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, delayed or destroyed or for the failure or malfunction of any hardware, software or telecommunication component relating to online entries. Vancouver and Western Living magazines (Transcontinental Media G.P.) and EAT Vancouver and Mott’s Clamato have the right, subject to the approval of the Régie in Québec, to terminate or suspend this contest or to modify the contest rules at anytime without notice for any reason whatsoever.

All entries become the property of Transcontinental Media G.P., which assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the websites during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Vancouver and Western Living magazines (Transcontinental Media G.P.) on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. Vancouver and Western Living magazines (Transcontinental Media G.P.) and EAT Vancouver and Mott’s Clamato reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the online portion of this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Vancouver and Western Living magazines (Transcontinental Media G.P.) corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Vancouver and Western Living magazines (Transcontinental Media G.P.) and EAT Vancouver and Mott’s Clamato reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Entrants agree to abide by the Contest Rules and Regulations.


General

The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants and individuals requesting a copy of the rules. The odds of an entry being selected depend on the number of eligible entries received by the contest closing date. All entries become the property of Transcontinental Media G.P. and EAT Vancouver and Mott’s Clamato and none will be returned. Vancouver and Western Living magazines (Transcontinental Media G.P.) and EAT Vancouver and Mott’s Clamato, and third parties may make the information on these entry forms available for promotional purposes unless entrants request otherwise.
