With so many different events to attend this Lunar New Year, it can be hard to decide just how you want to celebrate. If you’re opting to have people over instead of going out, this Grand Marnier cocktail may be exactly what you need to round out the festivities. The citrusy cocktail (from Uva Wine and Cocktail Bar‘s Sabrine Dhaliwal) was created specifically with the New Year in mind, combining Grand Marnier, Campari, and fresh OJ. Here’s how to make it at home:
¾ oz Grand Marnier¾ oz Campari1 oz Fresh Orange juice¾ Fresh Lemon Juice¾ Simple Syrup (1:1 ratio)2 Dashes Bittered Sling Plum & Rootbeer BittersCombine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake vigorously for 7 to 10 seconds.Double strain cocktail into a Collins glass with ice. Top with soda and garnish with orange twist.
