Inform's Vancouver for Ukraine raffle runs until Friday, April 15, with prizes from some of our favourite local and international designers.
As we all try to figure out how we can continue to help Ukraine, local design store Inform has jumped in with a worthy fundraiser raffle. The organizers reached out to many local designers and artists—including Janaki Larsen, Tantalus, Fluevog, Bocci, ANDlight, Green Theory and more—who have all donated some pretty incredible prizes.
Janaki Larsen has donated one of her coveted bowls, valued at $600
You can buy a single ticket for as little as $20, but the number of ballots you receive goes up with every donation level. At last count, they’d raised close an incredible $15,000.
The Pivot Table lamp from Vancouver-based lighting company ANDlight is available in one of three finishes – Magma (shown), Basalt or Granite, and retails for $819.
Get your ticket before this Friday at 10am to help rally for a good cause, and a chance to win one of the prizes.
The Bensen U Turn chair is another raffle prize – and the winner can choose the fabric.
For more on where the funds will go, see their writeup, below.
Inform Interiors is proud to be partnering with several local companies and artists to help raise funds to support Ukraine. We are happy to say that everyone we reached out to generously provided highly coveted prizes for our raffle. Get your tickets for your chance to win while helping!
All money raised will be donated to the selected charities and all the administration costs will be donated by Inform Interiors.
As the Russian military invasion of Ukraine has unfolded, so too has a humanitarian crisis that has forced civilians to flee their homes or take refuge. There are so many pressing issues that need support, and therefore, Inform Interiors will be dividing the raffle donations between the following four charities:
World Central Kitchen
Founded in 2010 by Chef José Andrés, World Central Kitchen (WCK) is first on the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises while working to build resilient food systems with locally-led solutions.
Médecins Sans Frontiers
As the war in Ukraine escalates, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has halted normal activities and is mobilizing emergency operations.
Voices of Children
Today, during the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, we are providing non-stop assistance to affected children and families from all over the country, providing emergency psychological assistance, and assisting in the evacuation process.
Maple Hope Foundation
A Canadian non-governmental organization committed to helping people suffering from the conflict in Ukraine.
