Executive Chef Gus Stieffenhofer-Brandson has created a special menu to pair with wines (rare bottles included) from the region famous for its unique terroir and winemaking techniques.

Ever go to the beach and wonder, “Can I eat that?” Get all the answers during Swallow Tail’s two-hour forage for seaweed, fish, crab, clams, scallops, and more—no boat required. After the harvest, dine on hot chowder on the seashore. Partial proceeds benefit the non-profit Pacific Salmon Society.

This year, Ace Moto Show—the only Vancouver event of its kind dedicated to custom-built and modified motorcycles—is teaming up with Rosie’s BBQ. Grapes are food, right? Vancouver International Wine Festival is back for its 45th (!) year. The theme country is Italy, so 2024 is set to be a great vintage. Fill your glass with chianti, prosecco, and super Tuscans galore during the nine-day extravaganza at popular events like the Bacchanalia Gala & Auction and International Festival Tastings, along with winemaker dinners and vino-focused seminars throughout the city.

The always-busy Vietnamese hotspot is marking Lunar New Year with a special 10-day menu of shareable “Tết” dishes in celebration of coming together as a family on the new moon. These include Bánh Chưng (sticky rice, mung beans, and pork belly hand-wrapped in banana leaves) which symbolise the grounding nature of earth, and Chè Bột Báng (pandan-infused tapioca and mung bean balls) which symbolise family unity. (If you plan on dining out around VDay, Anh and Chi also offers a four-course set menu for two which sells out every year.)

The Feast of Fortune directly supports St. Paul’s Foundation and the new St. Paul’s Clinical Support and Research Centre on the Jim Pattison Medical Campus.
