Melanie Auld Jewelry is Crowning the Real Heroes

The jeweller is hoping to reward some good deeds.

Vancouver-based jewelry outfit Melanie Auld was all set to release its Horoscope collection this week. But those plans were derailed (as so many have been) in the wake of COVID-19.

Instead, the jeweller announced plans to “recognize that there are countless people working and volunteering, risking their lives to fight this virus on the front lines.”

✨GOOD VIBES INITIATIVE✨ We had been set to release our new Horoscope collection this week, but given the circumstances we decided we wanted to do something to bring some joy to people in a time of so much anxiety and uncertainty. It’s important to us to be a brand that brings people together, not only during the good times, but also in the not so good times. . COVID-19 has created unique challenges for us all. As we continue to take measures to protect our team and community, we recognize that there are countless people working and volunteering, risking their lives to fight this virus on the front lines. We want to take this opportunity to do something special for them, so let’s create some good vibes and share the love! Tell us about someone in your community who has really stepped up to help others during this time, whether it be nurses, doctors, volunteers, or just someone doing a good deed, and they could see something special show up on their doorstep! We’ll continue to choose people for the next month, so keep the nominations rolling in!

Through the above post, the company hopes to solicit suggestions from the community about people that warrant special recognition, including doctors, nurses, volunteers, or simply someone doing a good deed for a neighbour in need. They’ll be selecting a few deserving folks to receive a special care package.
